Plastic Formers Ltd required a full-spectrum solution, and came to us after being referred by their network provider. Commsec Security specified a full-spectrum integrated solution, of which intruder alarms were a fundamental part. After completing a commercial risk assessment, the alarm system specified was a Gardtec system, which allowed for easy integration with other security systems, multiple sensor types and dual-path capability, utilising a Bold Lineguard, as backup to ensure uninterrupted monitoring.
Since the installation of the security solutions, Commsec Security still maintain and upgrade the system as necessary and remain in close contact with the client.
After a site visit, our account managers recommended a Paxton Net2 access control system, which would allow for zonal access, ensuring only accredited people could gain access to areas of the building. The advantages of the recommended system was a simple PC-based management system, allowing remote alteration of access permissions and zonal grouping. It also ensured that all persons entering the building were given access to zones suitable for them, i.e. their office space. Furthermore, it integrated seamlessly with the intruder alarm system already in place in the building.
Commsec Security has maintained friendly ties with the management company, and continue to maintain and upgrade the system as required.
