Depending on your requirements and service, Sage Monitoring can monitor CCTV cameras, both reactively and proactively and intruder alarms. If an alert is sounded, Sage Monitoring can despatch private security, keyholders and the emergency services if required.

Sage Monitoring offer two types of CCTV monitoring, as outlined above, reactive (also known as Dark Screen) and proactive. Each method has advantages in different situations.

Reactive monitoring relies on on-site alarm triggers to initialise a picture transmission to our control room. Until that alarm is triggered, no picture is sent (hence Dark Screen). This type of monitoring is perfect for lower risk premises or where privacy is paramount.

Proactive monitoring, on the other hand, is what people classically think of as CCTV monitoring. The picture is fed to an operator who constantly reviews the location. This type of monitoring is perfect for higher risk areas, where response time is the overriding factor.
